I consulted Little Lucy and we're both pretty sure this is how the conversation with Monkey went on Sunday.

As she watched the Little Professor at the end of the service she asked Little Lucy, "What is he doing?"

"He is the acolyte"

"Well, why is he taking the lights off the candles?....Oh, does that mean church is over?"
