Newsflash for Sen. Obama

After going to bed, I started thinking about the part of the debates that I did get to see in which the abortion issue came up. 

**Stepping onto soapbox***

Sen. Obama, I've got news for you. I work with nurses on a Maternal/Child unit. I can't come up with a health reason for a mother in a late term pregnancy that would necessitate an abortion! Those babies at that point, if needed for the health of the mother, could be delivered safely and as Sen. McCain stated adopted out to loving families. 

There are plenty of loving families out there waiting to adopt. Why do you want to punish the babies? As eliquently as you may try to speak and cover up the truth, it's not working on me! It's just sad and sick!
