Close... but, not quite

Friday, we attended the funeral for my Mom's uncle Ed (my grandma's sister's husband). We had events in the afternoon which prohibited us from traveling to the burial service (all the way across town) and then staying for the dinner later at the church. My parents did stay for the rest of the afternoon. I was explaining this to a friend of ours when Monkey piped in, "Yeah, we had to come home, but Grandma and Grandpa had to go help find a place to bury him."
