Lady bug came down as I was typing the previous post to ask if she could have the trail mix I bought the other day. I told her that I was saving it for snacks. She said that it was the only thing in the cabinet that resembled a dessert and that she wanted to have dessert. I asked her where we had just been.
"A birthday party. "
"What did we have at the birthday party?"
"Cake and Ice Cream."
"Isn't that dessert?"
"Yes. ***pause, looking at the trail mix*** Can I have a snack?!"
"Nice try...NO!" :)
