What We've Been Up To

Let's see... we are still all well. That's good.

Thursday we went to the audiologist for a recheck on Monkey and Panda. It was extremely cold Thursday and we also had a little snow. The road were fine, but the cold was ridiculous! Monkey's hearing is the same as it has been and her hearing aids are still functioning as they are supposed to. Panda did great with the hearing test. We tried the block game this time and she caught on real fast. Her hearing has declined, unfortunately. We will re-test in three months, but if it still looks the same as this appointment, we will get hearing aids for her as well. It doesn't bother her at all. She's lived with Monkey putting in her hearing aids everyday. In fact, there are many days that she asks where her hearing aids are! She has informed us that she wants green hearing aids (no surprise - she like everything in green!).

Friday was a "normal" day at home. Whatever that is....

Saturday we started our new routine for this semester. Panda went to a creative movement class. Monkey had her group piano class with the two other 5 year olds. Then we took Monkey and Lady Bug to ballet class. Monkey is a little young for the class, but her teacher said she would let her try it. She really did a good job today. She got a bit tired by the end - there is a lot of concentration and skills involved (I observed today to see how things would go). No one showed up for Brian's Music Play class so, he may be more free to help me with all of this schedule. Time wise it would be nice, money wise not so much. But, either way we'll be fine.
